Sir Frederic Osborn School is a secondary school in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England. The school was built and opened in 1965 as two separate schools - Welwyn Garden City High School and Attimore Hall School. The schools were combined in 1968 and renamed after the town's urban planner Sir Frederic J. Osborn.

The school has recently received a new science building, along with a fully refurbished technology and IT suite. The school installed a completely new computer system in 2005 based on the Cutter Linux system (although is now moving back to Microsoft Windows based systems following teething problems with the old system).

Until 2000 the school had a swimming pool which has now been replaced by a dance and drama studio.

The school was recognised as “Improving” by Ofsted in 2007 however was recognised as "average" after coming out of special measures in 2002.

The school recently won a bid for specialist status as a Sports College, enabling funding for the school to provide a modern new sports hall. The schools acting headteacher Mrs. Susan Lewis was delighted that the school had been awarded the specialist status.

The school has recently been granted permission to sell of one third of the schools land for use as public housing, although is still awaiting a developer to buy the land. This will enable the school to build a new multi-purpose sports complex and all weather court.

David James and Nick Faldo are ex pupils.
